Located in the heart of Port Royal, this substantial renovation was an exercise in creating a residence of unparalleled opulence and bespoke artistry.
The mission was to update and elevate every facet of this 8,000-square-foot estate, infusing it with an extraordinary level of detail and custom craftsmanship.
The home is a showcase of exquisite finishes, from underlit semi-precious white and pink rose quartz countertops to rich piano black lacquers and delicate silver and gold inlays. This commitment to luxury is epitomized by the use of hand-carved, gold-plated Sherle Wagner plumbing fixtures. The master craftsmanship is evident in the grand foyer, where a custom chandelier base is comprised of over twenty individual pieces of White River trim, and in the study, where the wainscoting features an intricate 11-piece molding.
Designed to house a significant art collection, the home features multiple custom displays, and we commissioned a local artist to create hand-carved pieces for the master bath and fireplace. The level of detail extends to the outdoor living areas, where the renovated summer kitchen features custom cabinetry of durable Starboard and rich walnut, all sheltered beneath a vibrant, custom lime green tongue-and-groove ceiling. The adjacent pool bath is a jewel box of its own, with a stunning custom-made sink and countertop carved from a single slab of blue agate.
The master suite was completely re-envisioned to create a private sanctuary with distinct his-and-her spaces. This new layout provides separate, custom-outfitted closets and vanity areas, allowing for the creation of a dedicated, standalone shoe closet for her.
The success of this intricate renovation was celebrated when it was featured as the “Home of the Month” in Home & Design magazine. The publication aptly titled the project “Royal, Fun and Stylish,” capturing its blend of Port Royal prestige and vibrant, bespoke details. Further recognition came when the residence was selected for the prestigious Naples Botanical Gardens’ House and Garden Tour, cementing its status as a landmark of luxury design in Naples.
