Engaged by the prestigious, golf-only Hole in the Wall club, our firm was tasked with delivering a new maintenance facility that would launch their grounds operations into the next phase of excellence.
The project was delivered via a design-build partnership with architect William Kyle of Kitchens Architect.
A key component of our pre-construction strategy involved illustrating the facility’s significant setback from the main road to the City of Naples. This successfully limited the mandated architectural scope, allowing us to focus the client’s budget on what mattered most: creating superior “functional real estate” for the team. This intelligent planning maximized the value and utility of every square foot.
The resulting campus features two purpose-built structures. A consolidated 18,000 sq. ft. main building houses the administrative offices, repair shops, and an expansive equipment storage area. A separate building is dedicated to environmental safety, designed for fertilizer and chemical mixing, loading, and washing. All systems within this building were constructed in accordance with the Department of Environmental Protection’s (DEP) Best Management Practices, ensuring the highest standards of safety. The new Hole in the Wall facility is a testament to strategic planning and client-focused value engineering, providing a state-of-the-art operational hub that will serve this premier golf club for generations.
