We partnered with esteemed architect Albert Dambrose of Studio AD Architect to design and construct this two-story, 5,000-square-foot residence. The design masterfully blends clean modernism with a distinct Midwestern edge, creating a home that feels both sophisticated and substantial. A testament to this vision is the seamless indoor-outdoor connection, anchored by an expansive outdoor living area with a 40-foot clear span that opens completely to the canal. This breathtaking view is intentionally framed and visible from the moment one steps through the front door.

While the overall color palette is light and airy, warm elements like extensive exterior tile on the front and rear facades provide a sense of grounded permanence. This blend of styles is perfectly captured in the custom kitchen, which pairs the warmth of stained oak flat-slab cabinetry with the sleek, contemporary finish of gloss acrylic upper cabinets. The home’s thoughtful layout includes three full en-suite bedrooms, a dedicated office, and a private gym. Beyond its current configuration, the residence was intelligently future-proofed during the design phase, with dedicated space and infrastructure planned for the seamless addition of a future elevator and whole-home standby generator. This foresight ensures the home can adapt to the clients’ needs over time, resulting in a stunning example of warm, contemporary architecture that is a testament to collaborative success and thoughtful, long-term planning.
